The tragedy happened in the club called "Celeste Resto Club, on the night of Saturday December 21, 2024 in Gonaïves. It was during an argument that a police officer opened fire on revelers. At least 4 injured and one dead recorded in this shooting.
The attacker, according to all information collected on the ground, is a member of the Departmental Law Enforcement Unit (UDMO).
Following this unfortunate incident, the injured were rushed to the hospital. Two of them are in very critical condition.
For the moment the police officer who committed the act is on the run and is wanted by the national police.
