The Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé visited OFATMA Hospital in Les Cayes on Tuesday to assess the facility's operations and the recent improvements to its services.
Accompanied by members of the government and health sector officials, the Prime Minister toured several units of the hospital, including the dialysis center. He spoke with patients and medical staff, noting the efforts made to enhance the quality of care.
This visit also provided an opportunity to observe the progress achieved through interventions by the Ministry of Public Health and Population, aimed at improving healthcare services in the South Department.
During his visit, the Prime Minister presented letters of appointment to several members of the healthcare and support staff. This gesture aims to recognize their commitment and strengthen the institution's human resources.
Through this initiative, the authorities reaffirm their commitment to continuing to improve the working conditions of medical staff and the quality of services provided to the public.
