Haitian Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé to Visit the United States

The Prime Minister's Office informs the public that Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé will make an official visit to the United States from April 19 to 24, 2026.

The Prime Minister will lead a small delegation on this trip, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Raina Forbin, and Special Advisor, Guerly Leriche.

This high-level official mission is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic dialogue between the Republic of Haiti and its international partners, with the aim of mobilizing increased support for stability, security, and the revitalization of national development.

During his stay in Washington, D.C., the Prime Minister will hold a series of high-level meetings with representatives of international financial institutions, regional organizations, and U.S. officials.

 In addition to this official visit, the Prime Minister will travel to New York, where he will continue his diplomatic consultations, particularly with the United Nations, on major issues concerning Haiti.

Through this initiative, the Government reaffirms its commitment to defending the nation's best interests, strengthening strategic partnerships, and promoting effective international cooperation in service of the Haitian people.
