They are accused, in particular, of insubordination towards their superiors as well as other behaviors not in accordance with the law and the institution's disciplinary regulations.
Following the questioning and the analysis of the initial evidence, it was decided to lift the isolation of these four (4) police officers and place them under precautionary measures pending the continuation of the investigation. The PNH specifies that the investigation is ongoing to determine whether there is criminal and administrative liability. This measure is not a final sanction, but aims to ensure the proper conduct of the investigation, preserve the integrity of the process, and allow for all necessary verifications to be carried out, in accordance with the PNH's internal regulations.
The institution reaffirms its commitment to handling this case rigorously, transparently, and impartially, while respecting the rights of the officers involved. The Directorate General reminds all police officers to remain at their posts and continue to perform their duties calmly and professionally.
The PNH asks the public to remain calm and trust its police force while the investigation continues until the full truth is revealed, in order to preserve credibility and uphold the law.
